said they got a call about a noise complaint at the 4300 block of Elmhurst Drive Aug. 1 around 12:16 a.m.  When an officer arrived, he pulled up to a 2003 White Cadillac. A 28-year-old Maplehurst Drive man was sitting in the car writing song lyrics and did admit to playing music loudly, according to the report. The officer told the man to keep the noise to a minimum. "I did not observe any violations," the officer said.
