Man Charged for Scamming Elderly in Stow, Falls

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On June 23 a Cuyahoga Falls man was arrested and charged after police said he scammed a 75-year-old Stow resident on some home repairs. 

Kenneth Uthe of Cuyahoga Falls is "known for operating scams on the elderly under the company name, WeatherCo Home Services Inc. Uthe would approach elderly and or disabled victims and claim to have observed problems with their roof, typically involving nails or shingle sticking up on the roof of their homes," said police.
