A man walking his Pug with his 6-month-old in a carrier strapped to his chest said a leashed Great Dane bit his small dog near Wexford and Millburn Avenue July 27 around 7:30 p.m. The leashed Great Dane was being walked by a woman. The victim told officers the dog was pulling the female owner. The man and his child were uninjured, according to the report. After the owner "regained control of the dog" the victim told police the woman said he should "not be walking on that side of the road." Officers were unable to speak with the female, but her husband was advised of the situation and asked to submit shot records to the police department. The victim declined to press charges. Injuring animals would be a second-degree misdemeanor, in this situation.
