More Gold, Thousands in Jewelry Burglarized from Stow Home

After a gold cross was stolen from a deceased soldier's father's home, $56,000 in jewelry (most of it gold) was burglarized from another house.

Weeks after a from Larry Large's home in Stow, a woman on Eastwicke Boulevard reported $56,806 in jewelry was taken.

Stow Police said sometime overnight Sept. 24, a Stow woman said thousads of dollars in jewelry, much of it gold, was taken from her Eastwicke Boulevard home.

The most expensive piece was a 14-karat gold diamond ring valued at about $19,000.

Police said there was no forced entry.Β Theft is a fourth-degree felony and burglary is a second-degree felony in this situation.Β 

Lt. Anne Stirm told the Stow Sentry that it was "very possible" suspects were looking for gold.
