Ohio Boardmember Delivers District's Sixth 'Excellent' Banner

State School Boardmember (District 7) Bryan Williams of Fairlawn called it an "honor and privilege" to deliver the district's sixth 'Excellent' School banner — a reflection of the .

"News has been good year-in and year-out for so long, that you almost take it for granted," said Williams, who represents a four-county district where many do not receive as high accolades.

"We're very proud of the accomplishments of our students with the support of our teachers, classified staff, administrators and parents in making this fantastic designation take place," Superintendent Russ Jones .

Although the district is in it's sixth consecutive year with the 'Excellent' rating,  before.

"Things don’t happen over night, this banner didn’t happen by accident, it happened in a time of cost-cutting," said Williams. "Your district is doing more with less, it's so cliché, but the reality is that we’ve had to do much more with less and achieving at a high level — that is the cherry on top of the sundae."
