PGATour.com: Stow's Ben Curtis Returns to U.K. for 2011 Open
The golf hot-shot from Stow talks with PGATour.com about his return to links golf at Royal St. George where he won the championship in 2003.
Professional golfer Ben Curtis of Stow will hit the links in the United Kingdom July 14 to play a course where he's won before.
Curtis, a Kent State University graduate, talked to PGATour.com Chief Corespondent Helen Ross about returning to Royal St. George for the 140th British Open, where he won the championship in 2003.Β
"Yeah, to go back to where I won is going to be fun and something new. I didn't get the chance in '07 when I won to go back to where I won, so I actually get to defend in some way or another. I get to defend a golf tournament, so it's something unique and fun," Curtis said in the PGATour.com story.
