Police: Paraphernalia in a Park, Bloody Nose and BB Gun Fired

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • were checking on a male who was reportedly sleeping in the Northport Park Aug. 19. Police found a hypodermic syringeΒ in his front pocket. The man was charged for possession of paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
  • A Waterford Circle resident told police that someone entered her home through the man door between her garage and the house. The door was found propped open with a kitchen chair when police arrived Aug. 20. Nothing was taken or damaged, according to the report. Criminal trespassing is a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
  • A Cuyahoga Falls resident told police that someone punched him in the face during an argument over a pool table at Aug. 21.Β  When police arrived, the man had already left and could not be located. The victim had a bloody nose. Assault is a first-degree misdemeanor, in this situation.Β 
  • A 19-year-old Stow man admitted to shooting a BB gun at his neighbor’s roof Aug. 18. The homeowner told police that he was unsure there was any damage done to his home. Discharging a BB gun is a fourth-degree misdemeanor, in this situation.Β
