Update: Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Stow Canceled

It's been threatening to rain all day and Summit County is now under a severe thunderstorm watch.

Last updated at 9:21 p.m. July 28: The Severe Thunderstorm Watch was canceled early.

According to the National Weather Service, Stow and all of Summit County is under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10 p.m.

It has but heavy rainfall is expected when the storm hits.

The NWS warns that some thunderstorms in the area could be severe with damaging winds.
