Stow church hires new pastor for student ministries

Stow Presbyterian Church has hired a new youth pastor to expand its programs for area teens and young adults. The church, located at 4150 Fishcreek Rd. in Stow has hired the Rev. Bob Stanley as its Associate Pastor for Christian Discipleship, with concentration in Student Ministries.

“Ministry to young adults is so important, especially in today’s culture,” said Senior Pastor David Weyrick. “Pastor Bob has the experience, dedication, and passion to reach out to teens and twenties alike in a loving and fun way. He loves to help them believe and follow Jesus Christ.”

Bob and his wife Mandy and their two children have lived the last few years in the Mansfield area where Bob has served as youth pastor and pastor. Bob has bachelor degrees in Christian Thought and Christian Ministries from Grove City College, as well as a Masters of Divinity from Trinity School for Ministry.

"My family and I are so blessed to be in Stow. Everyone has been so welcoming at Stow Presbyterian Church and around town as well. We look forward to getting involved and serving the community for many years to come,” said Pastor Bob. “This is a wonderful place for my family and I to call home.”
