Stow Softball Team Wins Against Walsh, Crushes 3 Home Runs
Alex Shaver and Stephanie Little recorded home runs during the game.
It was a scoreless game until 's and Sarah Parson both reached base on errors to start the home half of the third inning.
Alex Shaver then came through with a blast over the left field fence to record her first home run of the season as Stow took a 3-0 lead.
In the top of the fifth inning Walsh got on the scoreboard via a passed ball with the runner from third scoring.

The Lady Bulldogs responded with two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Shaver belted her second home run of the game, again over the left field fence with the bases empty. This was followed by Stephanie Little’s home run, another solo shot over the fence for her first of the season as Stow took a 5-1 lead in the game.
Walsh kept the game close scoring two runs in the top of the sixth inning but was held scoreless in the seventh inning as Stow won the game 5-3.

Annette Fetter earned her third win of the season as Stow remained unbeaten with a 4-0 record. Fetter allowed only 5 Walsh hits while recording 4 strikeouts. Shaver’s hitting led the offense for Stow as she was 2 for 3 with her two home runs and 4 RBIs. Little was also 2 for 3 as she had a single in addition to her home run.
