Thefts From a Home Safe, High School And a Business
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Stow Police are investigating the following reports of theft:
- A resident of the 4300 block of Stow Road called police at 6:16 p.m. Sept. 6 to report the theft of $4,000 cash from the locked safe in his home. The man, 42, told police he had a suspect in mind. Police noted on their incident report that charges could include safecracking, a fourth-degree felony, and theft, a fifth-degree felony.
- A teacher at Stow-Munroe Falls High School reported to police at 1:40 p.m. Sept. 7 that someone stole a school-owned Yamaha sound board valued at $600 from the auditorium. The theft occurred sometime between July 20 and Aug. 22.
- A 40-inch flat-screen television valued at $300 was reported stolen at 5:37 a.m. Sept. 12 from a business in the 4400 block of Kent Road. An employee told police he received a call from the alarm company about an alarm going off at the business. The man went there and found that a front window had been broken. Security camera footage at the business showed a male entering the store through a broken window and stealing the TV. Charges could include breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, and theft, a misdemeanor.
