Unit Principal Leaving Stow-Munroe Falls High for Kent Job

Anthony Horton, a unit principal at , is leaving the district July 31 to start his new job as principal of Stanton Middle School in Kent.

Horton landed his first job in education in 1999 as a health teacher at Kimpton Middle School, the Stow Sentry. He also served many years as both a wrestling coach and boys track coach at Kimpton.

"It is bittersweet," Horton told the Sentry. "Stow has been my home for my 13 years of teaching and I love the community here, the staff here, the students. But this was a great opportunity for me."
