WATCH: Area Firefighters Light Fuse on Real-World Training

Stow Fire Department one of several participants in training exercise arranged by Cuyahoga Falls firefighters

The Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department typically receives calls to put out fires, not to light them.Β

However, the latter scenario played itself out when the owners of 3655 Wyoga Lake Road asked the department to burn their residence down.Β

Falls Fire Chief Paul Moledor jumped at the opportunity. On Sept. 10, after almost a year of preparation, the department began a series of training exercises at the home in order to offer real-world training to scores of area firefighters.Β
