During the 's first meeting of the new year Jan. 9, Boardmember Rod Armstrong said he'd like to get some feedback from the community about when meetings should begin.

Right now, the meetings are usually on the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m. and the fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m. Click here to see the full meeting schedule.

"My thought was that the 6 p.m. meetings might be a little early for a lot of people to get home have dinner and come to a community meeting," said Armstrong. "But the 7 p.m. meeting may be too late. Input from the community would be great."

Board President Karen Powers said she expects to look at the times more closey again in April or May, when the district starts to put together the next school year calendar.

"The calendar is [finalized] and printed in July, so we want to avoid causing any confusion changing the [meeting] times half way through," she said.

Powers added she'd be interested to know what times work for the community as well.
