1,000 Motorcycles To Ride Through Strongsville Sunday

The mass of bikes is part of the 14th Annual Firefighters Memorial Ride, which will briefly shut down some intersections in town.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The 14th Annual Firefighters Memorial Ride will come through Strongsville on Sunday. Approximately 1,000 motorcycles will ride through town as part of an in memoriam for Ohio's fallen firefighters and EMS workers.

Motorcycles will begin gathering in Cleveland at 9 a.m. A 30 minute ceremony at the Firefighters Memorial will precede the procession. The ride will then depart from the Memorial in downtown Cleveland at 11 a.m.

The procession should make its way to Strongsville at about noon. Several intersections in town will be closed for about 20 minutes so the riders can go by.

The route will move across W. 25th Street onto Pearl Road. The motorcycles will then turn left onto York, right onto Royalton Road and right onto Valley Parkway.

Riders will stay left on Valley Parkway before turning left on South Quarry Lane. The riders will then turn right onto Prospect Road.
