🌱 $50,000 Grant For Whitney Road Bridge + Garbage Can Complaint

Here are the top three stories today in Strongsville:

  1. Strongsville will be accepting funds from Cleveland Metroparks to reconstruct a one-lane covered bridge on Whitney Road. Cleveland Metroparks will be contributing $50,000 towards the project which costs $1.9 million. According to the City Council, Cleveland Metroparks' vehicles use the bridge to access Mill Stream Run Reservation and a park management center. (cleveland.com)

  3. A Strongsville resident on Lunn Road contacted the Strongsville Police Department about a garbage truck collection crew. The incident occurred on May 27 when the crew reportedly was making a mess and roughly handing the garbage cans. The responding officers told the resident to contact Republic Waste about the complaint. (cleveland.com)
