STRONGSVILLE, OH — February is here, the Super Bowl is over, and Valentine's Day is approaching. There's plenty of moving pieces to keep track of during this short month, so Patch decided to help out.

We've compiled a list of need-to-know dates for parents and students in the Strongsville Schools. Parent-teacher conferences will happen throughout February, but there will also be a holiday, a dance and more.

  • First Friday Parent Education Series, "Home Playrooms: How to Create Engaging Spaces for Play" — Feb. 7
  • Parent-teacher conferences (Grades 6-12) — Feb. 11
  • College Credit Plus meeting — Feb. 11
  • Parent-teacher conferences (Grades PreK-8) — Feb. 12
  • Rockin' at the Rec dance (6th to 8th grades) — Feb. 14
  • No School — Feb. 17 (Presidents' Day)
  • Parent-teacher conferences (Grades 9-12) — Feb. 19
  • Parent-teacher conferences (grades preK-5) — Feb. 20
