Company reps aren't saying, but they did narrow it down

Not surprisingly, Giant Eagle representatives said at a recent meeting with city officials that the replacement, when picked, will not be a grocery store.

Company officials said several tenants are already interested in the 70,000-square-foot store.

But it's a common practice for retailers to refrain from leasing their old space to a competitor.

Giant Eagle is asking voters to rezone part of the and Honey Hut property to make way for a 110,000-square-foot Market District store.

In the Strongsville Patch poll, the next-highest vote-getters were DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse), Toys R Us and IKEA
