A Year Later, Bounce City Site Remains Vacant

Company had hoped to open elsewhere

Nearly a year after , the space it occupied remains vacant.

The business, 14767 Pearl Rd., said when it closed last March 1 it would seek a new location, but no new has opened.

Nor has anyone taken over the spot in the Pearl Road plaza.

Strongsville Economic Development Director Brent Painter said a new tenant wanted to move into the site shortly after Bounce City closed, but the deal fell through when tenant and owner could not agree on a lease price.

Before Christmas, another potential tenant was interested in the site, as well, but Painter said he isn't aware of any hot prospects since then.

"As far as I know, there's nobody looking there right now," he said.

The business, which was co-owned by Cleveland Browns player Joshua Cribbs, featured giant inflatables, including slides, as well as laser tag and an arcade.
