Accused National Steroid Ring Indicted In Ohio
The Department of Justice announced charges against three men who are accused of running a steroid distribution ring.
BRUNSWICK, OH — Three men have been charged with distributing anabolic steroids through the dark web, the Department of Justice announced. The men used the U.S. Post Office and other mail carriers to ship the drugs.
Ronald Roginsky, 52, from Brunswick, John Ambrose, 40, from Chicago, and Eric Angle, 52,from Wexford, Pennsylvania, are named in the four-count indictment. All three men are charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.
According to the indictment, Roginsky, Ambrose and Angle were part of the "qu4ntum" drug trafficking organization, which ran several dark net vendor accounts on AlphaBay, Dream Market, Wall Street and other dark net marketplaces.

Qu4ntum would import steroids from China and other nations and then distribute them to locations throughout the U.S., the indictment said. They would use the U.S. Postal Service, third-party shipping companies and face-to-face transactions to move the steroids, the indictment said. Their sales were done in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, the indictment noted.
To hide the source of the shipments, qu4ntum would use P.O. boxes held under fake names, the indictment said.

Qu4ntum were investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the FBI, Homeland Security, the IRS and the Medina County Drug Task Force.
