It's not just for kids, either. Norehad said the company runs a popular "grad school" where people of all ages -- she said most are in their 30s, 40s and 50s -- live out their rock and roll dreams.

School of Rock gives students private instrument or vocal lessons, and also assigns them to a band that rehearses together every week.
"It really motivates them to practice," Norehad said. "We get them on stage and give them experience performing."
Norehad operates School of Rock franchises in Rocky River and Highland Heights. She said she chose Strongsville for the next location because she wanted to expand into the south suburbs.
"We've had a lot of interest from people in the Strongsville area," she said.
