Avant Garde Craft Show Returns To Strongsville In April

After taking a year off, the city's annual Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show will return April 10-11.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville Spring Avant-Garde Art & Graft Show will return April 10-11, organizers announced.

The event will be held at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center, 18100 Royalton Rd. On April 10, patrons can shop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on April 12 the event will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3, though children 12 and under are free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Cleveland Kids' Book Bank.

After taking a year off due to COVID-19, the event will return with new health and safety protocols implemented. There will also be approximately 60 handmade local artisans and crafters selling their goods.

“2020 was a long, long year for all of us! Having to cancel nearly our entire show schedule for 2020, we are excited to be making our way back to Strongsville for our spring show this April. All of our vendor spots are sold and our vendors are very excited to be back at it this spring!” said Becki Silverstein, the show's founder.

  • 6 feet between each vendor booth.
  • Larger aisle walkways.
  • Hand sanitizer at the entrance.
  • One-way traffic at the event.
  • Masks requirement by both vendors and attendees.

“Guests can expect a wide variety to shop including everything from handcrafted jewelry, homemade pasta sauces, a variety of bath and body products and so much more! This year’s show is indoors and social distancing recommendations have been put in place to allow for a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for all," Silverstein said.
