Bad Weather Pushes Strongsville High Finals

Principal Mark Smithberger Tweeted out the new schedule for the week, following a third straight snow day.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — While students have probably been enjoying the extended vacation, district officials have had to adjust plans after Strongsville Schools were closed for three straight days. Strongsville High Principal Mark Smithberger has even Tweeted out the revised finals schedule for students.

Finals will be pushed back by one day, Smithberger said. "Tuesday will be a regular school day, and the exam schedule will start on Wednesday. This decision was made based on the need for students and staff to have class time together prior to exams," the announcement said.

The new exam schedule starts Wednesday and continues Thursday, Friday and next Wednesday, Jan. 17. Exams will be held between 7:20 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. on those days. Students will then get lunch before heading off to either Polaris, study hall or make-up sessions.
