Blue Lights: Strongsville Clocktower Changing Color To Honor Cops
The Light Up Northern Ohio Blue campaign will come to Strongsville staring May 12.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The clocktower at Strongsville Commons will be lit blue from May 12 through May 20 as part of the Light Up Northern Ohio Blue campaign, which honors police officers for their service. Homes and businesses throughout Cleveland will also be decked out in blue around that time.
May 12 through May 20 is National Police Week (plus an extra day or so). Several Cleveland-area law enforcement agencies and related groups have partnered to create the new Light Up Northern Ohio Blue campaign.
"In doing so, we are asking residents, our private sector partners, non-profit organizations and agencies to spread the word on social media, while also advertising in any way they can. In addition to letting others know, we ask that you – if you are able – light your place of business/home blue and sport your blue attire during Police Week 2018," Cleveland Police said on their blog.
