Boil Alert Lifted For Strongsville, Middleburg Heights
Tests showed no pathogens had entered the water system. The water is safe to drink and use like normal, Cleveland Water said.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The boil alert for Strongsville and parts of Middleburg Heights has been lifted. Tests showed that no pathogens had entered the water system, and the water is safe for use.
The results for the test came in at approximately 11 a.m., Cleveland Water said. There were no pathogens in the water sample. The boil alert had been in place since Monday morning.
"As a precaution, customers with refrigerator water lines and/or automatic ice makers should not consume any ice made during the boil alert and clean water lines before using them," the Cleveland Water Department said on Twitter.

Crews continue to work on the water main break at Engle Road. That construction is expected to last close to a week.
