This is always a question that comes up at this time of year.

While the fact is people are doing many other things at this time of the year with shopping and parties, there are others that are still searching for their dream home. 

If your goal is to sell the house, then sell the house. If anything, you stand to benefit from the lack of competition created by those who did decide to take their house off the market.

And if your home does sell -- and might I say that would be a great problem to have -- most buyers would understand that you might be wanting to have a last Christmas Eve celebration in your home.
