Brookpark Skateland Closed Permanently After Fire
The Bradnan family — who own the facility — said the damage to the building was too extensive to repair.

BROOK PARK, OH — The iconic Brook Park Skateland will be permanently closed, the owners announced on Friday. The business was ravaged by a fire in September 2018 and has been closed since.
The Bradnan family — who own Skateland — said damage to the building was too extensive to repair. They said fire and smoke damage, combined with the age of the building, was a major concern.
The fire broke out in mid-September and tore through the interior of Skateland. Multiple fire departments combined efforts to control the blaze, which burned for more than an hour, according to reports.
