Candidates Lining Up for School Board Seats

Four people have filed petitions so far to run for the Strongsville Board of Education this November.

Incumbents Ruth Brickley and Carl Naso have said they will seek another term on the School Board. 

Also filing petitins were Richard Micko and John Pietrasz. Ronald Schroth Jr. has taken out petitions, but had not filed them as of Tuesday morning.

Deadline to file petitions is 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Three seats are up for election this year -- those held by Brickley, Naso and Dave Gusman.

Write-in candidates have till Aug. 29 to file.
