Chalet Has More than Just Tobogganing
Cleveland Metroparks facility is available for picnics and parties

Cleveland Metroparks Chalet Recreation Area in Strongsville is known far and wide for its toboggan chutes, but it's actually open year-round for other outdoor recreation.
The can be rented for family outings, group functions and company meetings/picnics during the spring, summer and fall.
The area includes the Chalet building, charcoal grills, picnic tables, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits and swings in a tree-filled grove. Picnic tables and grills are placed throughout the picnic grove.

The Chalet building can accommodate up to 65 people in the main lounge and an additional 50 in the second floor loft. It also features a large-screen TV with cd/dvd/vcr/tape player, indoor and outdoor stone fireplaces, and indoor restrooms. A small kitchen area with commercial freezer and refrigerator, coffee maker, sinks/counter space is also available.
The back patio area can seat approximately 100 under a tent, with additional tents and seating available with prior arrangements.

Chalet staff is always on-site throughout the private events to assist.
The Chalet Recreation Area is located on Valley Parkway in Mill Stream Run Reservation, between Routes 42 and 82 in Strongsville -- just off I-71 and the Ohio Turnpike.
