Cities Lose Suit Against Sewer District
Court rules sewer fee is not an unlawful tax
A court ruled Thursday that the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District's fee for a regional stormwater management system is legal, according to the NEORSD website.
Strongsville was among the cities fighting the fee.
The average homeowner will pay about $57 additional per year for the system, which is designed to protect communities from flooding, NEORSD adds.
