Credit Card Thief Hits Strongsville Store

Police are looking for a man that stole a Westlake couple's credit card and used it to make fraudulent purchases in Strongsville.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Police are searching for a man they believe stole a credit card from a Westlake couple and used it to buy merchandise from a Strongsville Walgreens. The man was able to successfully purchase $135 of merchandise at the store.

The card is believed to have been stolen in early June. The couple heard from their bank on June 4 about a suspicious credit card purchase. Police have now tracked down images of the man who made the purchase using their card. Images of the suspect are included at the bottom of this article.

The suspect attempted to make a second purchase using the couple's card but the transaction was rejected. Anyone who can identify the suspect may call Westlake Police at 440.871.3311.
