Fun at the Old Oak Run

Southwest General celebrated its 31^st year of the Old Oak Run — the hospital’s 5K run and one-mile walk -- April 21. Despite a cold and rainy Saturday, hundreds of walkers and runners attended the annual celebration and for some running/walking fun.

Additionally, four years ago, a group of patients from the hospital’s Orthopedic Joint Center, along with their family, friends, and even some pets, conquered the challenge of the one-mile walk after undergoing replacement knee or hip surgery. Four years later, the group has nearly doubled in size.
