Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

  1. The Great Big Yard Sale will be on Jun. 23 and 24 beginning daily at 9:00 a.m. The sale is hosted by the Strongsville Historical Society at Strongsville Historic Village on Pearl Road. The organization reports that the sale will be bigger and better than ever. (cleveland.com)
  2. The Cuyahoga County Council reports that it will not fund a second study for the renovation of the county jail. The County Jail steering committee had requested the second study to investigate the feasibility of renovating the existing structure. The Council President believes that a second study is not necessary and would be an irresponsible use of taxpayer funds. (Cleveland.com)
  3. Detectives with the Cleveland Police Department reported that Anastasia Hamilton's body had cuts and bruises when they found it. The body was found at a residence in Slavic Village on Wednesday after Hamilton went missing from a Terminal Tower parking garage. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has not yet released its official cause of death report. (News 5 Cleveland)
