Here are the top three stories today in Strongsville:
- Walsh Jesuit High School has issued a statement regarding an incident that occurred at a recent girls' soccer game. The incident was caught on video during the Regional Final between Walsh Jesuit and Strongsville on Saturday night. Walsh Jesuit's head coach and assistant coach went after the game's official during the incident. Macedonia police had to step in to clear the field. The school has apologized to Nordonia and Strongsville for the incident. (Fox 8)
- The Department of Justice monitored Cuyahoga County's election on Tuesday. The announcement was made by the DOJ the day before the election. The monitoring team included personnel from the U.S. Attorney's Office, the Civil Rights Division, and the Office of Personnel Management. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
- The Strongsville Police Department responded to a call about an ongoing neighbor issue last month. The department responded to Shurmer Road on Oct. 25 regarding the issue. According to the caller, the neighbor was engaging in "spiteful mowing." (Subscription: cleveland.com)
