Ohio Senate Candidate Flew In Strip Club Owner's Jet: Report

The GOP candidate has reportedly been flying to campaign stops throughout Ohio on a Cleveland club owner's private plane.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Jim Renacci has reportedly been flying to campaign events throughout Ohio using a private jet owned by a Cleveland strip club owner, the Columbus Dispatch reported this week. Renacci is challenging incumbent Senator Sherrod Brown, a Democrat, for his seat.

Ohio's senators, and senatorial candidates, have traditionally used ground transportation, crisscrossing the state in buses and cars. Renacci has been flying with Don Ksiezyk, owner of Cleveland clubs Peek-A-Boos and the Bug-A-Boos, the Dispatch said.

While the decision to be piloted across the state may be strange, it's not illegal. The majority of Ksiezyk's plane flights appear to have been coordinated with Renacci campaign stops in different parts of the state, including Toledo and Lima.
