Just in Time for Winter Break: Expanded Hours at Toboggan Chutes
Chalet offers icy fun every weekday while kids are home from school

Cleveland Metroparks'Â Â have expanded hours through Jan. 1.
Here's the schedule:
Dec. 21, 22, 23 -- Noon to 10:30 p.m.

Dec. 24 -- Noon to 4 p.m.
Dec. 25 -- Closed

Dec. 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 -- Noon to 10:30 p.m.
Dec. 31 -- Noon to 5 p.m.
Jan. 1 -- Noon to 5 p.m.
Riders climb aboard a traditional wooden toboggan, but that's where the tradition ends. The twin refrigerated ice chutes are approximately 700 feet long with an initial vertical drop of 70 feet for a fast, thrill-producing ride.Â
The chutes operate with or without snow. Riders must wear mittens or gloves.
After the holidays, tobogganing hours return to:
Thursdays - 6 to 10 p.m.         Â
Fridays - 6 to 10:30 p.m.                     Â
Saturdays - noon to 10:30 p.m.                     Â
Sundays - noon to 5 p.m.                  Â
Daily admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children ages 11 and under, which inlcudes unlimited rides. One-time ride tickets are also available for $3. Â Â Â Â
