Shooting Victim Upgraded to Fair Condition

Kayla Allen is recovering from Cracker Barrel incident; don't forget there's a fundraiser Thursday at Cleats

Kayla Allen, who was seriously injured when her father at the Brooklyn Cracker Barrel April 12, is now in fair condition at MetroHealth Medical Center.

The fifth-grader was listed in critical condition for the first week after the shooting, then went to serious condition before being upgraded today to fair.

Family and friends are having a fundraiser Thursday, April 26 at in Strongsville.

Kayla's sister, Kerri, 10, and mother, Kate, 42, were killed. Kevin Allen was shot and killed by police as he left the restaurant with the gun.
