
Radio personality Larry Morrow will make a special appearance at the of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, 18700 Westwood Drive, April 6.
Morrow will be at the library from 7-8 p.m. to share inside stories and anecdotes from his long and varied career.
The event is free and open to the public.

As a Cleveland radio DJ and host for more than four decades, Morrow became well known for his upbeat personality and gentle good humor. He earned the nickname “Mr. Cleveland” for his active role in promoting Cleveland’s turnaround in the 1980s and 1990s.
Morrow came to Cleveland from Detroit in 1966 to join the innovative rock-and-roll station WIXY 1260. He later hosted morning shows on WWWE, WERE, WQAL and Sirius Satellite Radio.

Morrow has been master of ceremonies for many important civic events, including the grand opening of Cleveland Browns Stadium in 1999 and Cleveland’s official bicentennial ceremony. He has also introduced five U.S. presidents at regional events. He was inducted into the Radio and Television Broadcasters Hall of Fame and is the only Ohio broadcaster nominated to the National Radio Hall of Fame.
Morrow’s talk is based on his new memoir, This is Larry Morrow: My Life On and Off the Air (hardcover/$19.95 , 288 pages) which will be on sale for autographing at the event. For more information, call the Strongsville Library at 440-238-5530.
