Leaf Collection Starting Soon In Strongsville
That means scheduled brush collection is coming to a close. Make sure you've gotten rid of all your brush before the second week of October.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Scheduled brush pick-up in the city will cease after the first week of October, the city announced. Crews will begin taking part in leaf pick-ups, at that time. Brush can also be left out for pick-up on regular trash days.
Residents with a brush problem can also drop off their culled brush at Strongsville's transfer station, 16099 Foltz Pkwy. The rules for brush collection and disposal must still be followed. Those rules can be found by clicking here.

The city will be divided up in half for purposes of leaf collection. Residents that live north of Route 82 will have crews in their areas at the following times:
- Week of October 9
- Week of October 23
- Week of November 6
Residents that live south of Route 82 will have crews in their area at the following times:

- Week of October 16
- Week of October 30
- Week of November 13
The city's crews will collect the leaves on their first pass through a neighborhood, so all bundles of leaves must be ready for pick-up on the first day of a collection week. Leaves must be piled along the roadside or curb, but cannot be more than 5 feet from the roadway.
