Lose Money to Window Company? Another Firm will Help

Northcoast Energy Masters picking up where bankrupt business left off

Less than two weeks after making a deposit to have his energy-leaking attic insulated, Bill Davidson learned that HomeEnergyMD/Regency Windows, the company he hired to do the work, was out of business.

And he was out $1,200.

“I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time,” said Davidson, whose money had escaped his bank account almost as fast as the warm air was escaping his Valley City home.

But George Minello, president of Northcoast Energy Masters, heard about the plights of Davidson and about 40 other homeowners who had lost their deposits to HomeEnergyMD and offered to help.

“I was surprised when they said they could do the work for just the $1,200 balance that I would have paid HomeEnergyMD," Davidson recalled. "Instead of losing the deposit I thought was long gone, I got all the work done for no more than what I had expected to pay in the first place.”

Minello is extending the same offer to any other homeowner who lost their deposit to HomeEnergyMD.

“If you were left hanging by the closure of Regency Windows or HomeEnergyMD, Northcoast Energy Masters has you covered,” he said in a news release. “We will give you a discount equal to your Regency down payment. Why wait for a court settlement which may never come?”
