Man Calls Police on Himself After Mixing Cocaine and Cough Syrup: Police Blotter

Quasi overdose
A man took cocaine and Robitussin on Feb. 26, started feeling ill and called the Strongsville police on himself.
When officers and paramedics arrived on scene, they determined the 35-year-old man was, in fact, not overdosing on coke and cough syrup, according to a police report.

Officers didn't find any drugs and the man decided not to go to the hospital.

A less-than-astute Chardon man reported his Toyota Camry stolen on Feb. 26, but officers quickly learned the car had been repossessed from Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The man was advised.
