Man Charged With Illegally Re-Entering America, Found In North Royalton

Police arrested a 29-year-old El Salvador native in North Royalton for illegally re-entering the United States.

NORTH ROYALTON, OH — An El Salvador native was recently arrested and charged with illegally re-entering the United States, law enforcement says. The man was one of three people captured and charged with illegally re-entering the country, though the cases are unrelated.

Jose Ayala-Escobar, 29, of El Salvador, was found in North Royalton by police. He was previously deported in 2012 and will now face charges for illegally re-entering the country.

Ayala-Escobar was one of three men who were rounded up in Northeast Ohio recently. Two men from Honduras were also arrested. Julio Nunez-lzaguine, aka Julio Nunes, 37, was recently found living in Cleveland. Sergio Rene Almendarez-Euceda, 31, was found living in Portage County.

Nunez was previously deported to Hondruas in 2001. Almendarez-Euceda was previously deported to Honduras in 2012.

The cases are unrelated, law enforcement says. An investigation into the men was led by U.S. Border Patrol, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
