Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

  1. Ohio State Troopers cited a motorcyclist just past the Strongsville city line going 147 miles per hour. The cyclist was heading north on I-71 on Saturday when troopers clocked him going 147 in a 65 mph zone. Ohio had 17 traffic deaths over Memorial Day weekend. Slow down. Arrive alive.   2. Masks are once again required in Cuyahoga County government buildings. Masks are required for everyone — even those with a COVID-19 vaccination. The new guidelines are in response to the county being identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as being a "high" community level for the virus. (Cleveland.com)
  3. A Strongsville woman and a North Olmsted man have been charged with criminal child enticement from an incident on May 12. The couple allegedly offered candy to a group of three children to lure them into their car. The children called 911 and the police responded to Meijer Park. (Cleveland.com)
