Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

1. The theme for the Strongsville City Club's Rib Burnoff has been announced. This year's vendors will be serving ribs inspired by a "hot and spicy" theme. This year's Rib Burnoff will have a fireworks display on Friday, Jun. 17 on the Commons. The event will be from Jun. 16 through Jun. 18. Click the link for more information about this exciting event. 2. Cuyahoga County has been dropped to a "medium" community level for COVID-19. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention uses the community-level system to identify the spread of the virus throughout a community. The county was designated as a "high" level for two weeks as hospitalization and infection rates increased. (WKYC)
3. The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is currently searching for Aug. 2 Primary Election support. The county is hiring more than 4,000 election officials and poll workers. The base salary is $220 with the opportunity to make $250. Click to apply. (Cleveland 19 News)
