Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:
- The theme for the Strongsville City Club's Rib Burnoff has been announced. This year's vendors will be serving ribs inspired by a "hot and spicy" theme. This year's Rib Burnoff will have a fireworks display on Friday, Jun. 17 on the Commons. The event will be from Jun. 16 through Jun. 18. Click the link for more information about this exciting event. - Cuyahoga County has been dropped to a "medium" community level for COVID-19. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention uses the community-level system to identify the spread of the virus throughout a community. The county was designated as a "high" level for two weeks as hospitalization and infection rates increased. (WKYC)
- The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is currently searching for Aug. 2 Primary Election support. The county is hiring more than 4,000 election officials and poll workers. The base salary is $220 with the opportunity to make $250. Click to apply. (Cleveland 19 News)
