The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Strongsville.

Hello all. It's me, Sean Peek, your host of the Strongsville Daily. Follow along to find out the most important things happening around town.

First, today's weather:

Nice with clouds and sun. High: 70 Low: 54.

📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Strongsville who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.

I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Strongsville Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.

Here are the top three stories today in Strongsville:

  1. Community activists in Cuyahoga County are working to rebuild a memorial wall for murder victims. The previous memorial wall was located in East Cleveland before it was taken down. The new memorial wall will be built in the nearby Collinwood neighborhood along Kipling Avenue to provide friends and family with a sacred space to mourn loved ones. (Cleveland 19)
  2. Cuyahoga County aims to build electric microgrids to attract businesses. The county has filed a request for information about the technical, commercial, and legal frameworks necessary to develop the microgrids. A microgrid is a local grid that has the capacity to disconnect itself from the larger grid to operate independently. (Cleveland.com)
  3. The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities is searching for a new superintendent to replace Kelly Petty. The replacement is necessary since Petty reportedly plans to retire next year in April. The new superintendent will have some large shoes to fill, as Petty is responsible for leading a significant number of initiatives since her appointment to the position in 2013. (Cleveland.com)
