Metroparks Will Host Babysitter Training

Red Cross course is being offered in Strongsville

A Red Cross Babysitter Training course is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 at the Cleveland Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation Park Management Center.

The program trains and certifies more than 120,000 babysitters nationwide each year.

It's fun and fast-paced with hands-on activities, role playing and lively discussions. The course teaches young people how to care for children and infants, keep the children they babysit and themselves safe, handle emergencies, be good leaders and role models, and make good decisions and solve problems.
