- Get into the business world and make some important connections at SW/CLE Happy Hour Business Social. The group will meet the first Wednesday of each month from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Every month, the event will be held at a different bar so business professionals from Strongsville can get together, share some drinks, and network! This month, the networking event will take place at Mulligan's Bar & Grille. (EventBrite)
- Bad news for Strongsville drivers who may have received a traffic ticket in Cleveland in the late 2000s: On Thursday, the Ohio Supreme Court issued a ruling that the city will not have to refund $4.1 million in traffic camera tickets that were improperly paid between 2005 and 2009. The lawsuit was initially filed 13 years ago and claimed Cleveland should refund tickets issued to drivers of leased or rented vehicles, since the vehicle owner was legally liable for payment. The city voted to shut down Cleveland's traffic-camera program in 2014. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
