Nicole Bertke promoted at Western Reserve Masonic Community
The assistant administrator oversees the admissions process and management of the skilled nursing facility

Western Reserve Masonic Community is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicole Bertke, LNHA, to Assistant Administrator at its 50-bed skilled nursing facility, located at 4931 Nettleton Rd., in Medina. Previously, Bertke was the community’s admissions and resident services manager.
In her new position, Bertke oversees the admissions process and management of the facility, including financial performance, quality, employee relations, referrals, family relations, marketing, regulatory compliance and strategic planning. She reports to the community’s Administrator, Jason French, LNHA.
Western Reserve Masonic Community is an active lifestyle community for adults 55 and better offering independent living with access to onsite health services, including assisted living, skilled nursing, short- and long-term rehabilitation and memory care. The Medicare and Medicaid-certified skilled nursing facility provides residents with 24-hour care on an interim or long-term basis and is named one of “America’s Best” in U.S. News & World Report’s Ninth Annual “Best Nursing Homes.”

For 15 years, Bertke worked in the senior living and health care sectors. Before joining Western Reserve Masonic Community in 2017, she served as Executive Director at an Ohio-based senior living provider offering residential living, assisted living and memory care. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of health services, specializing in long-term care, from Ashford University, San Diego.
