The Olive Scene Opens in Strongsville
The store specializes in various types of oils and gourmet foods. They focus particularly on balsamic vinegars and olive oils.
STRONGSVILLE, OH - The Olive Scene, a store offering olive oils, nut oils, and seed oils, opened Dec. 2 in Strongsville. The store also sells balsamic and wine vinegars, and gourmet food options. The new location is at 16734 Pearl Rd.
In a statement, the store's ownership said they were "excited to be part of the fantastic shopping scene in this fantastic community." One of the store's first community events will be held Dec. 5 when it hosts the "Eat Your Veggies! Giveaway" event. During that sale, customers will get a free vegetable brush and peeler with any purchase.

The Olive Scene opening represents the franchise's first foray into the city. There are Olive Scenes in Vermillion, Rocky River, and Chagrin Falls. The store was started by three friends; Anne Eren, Aliece Wiegan, and Tracy Lockhart.
Lockhart said the company has been working hard to get the store ready for the opening. Patch will have a full Q&A with Lockhart next week.
