Police Blotter: Caller Threatens to Kill Husband over $5,000 Debt
The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A Gate Post Road woman notified police Nov. 11 after someone called and threatened to kill her husband.
The caller used the husband's first name and said he "owes me $5,000 and I'm going to kill him."
Police did a search and found the call came from a number that is known to perpetrate scams.

Was it the Snoring?
employees called police about 11:20 p.m. Nov. 12 about a man sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the store and snoring loudly.

Police roused the man and advised him to move along.
Suspicious Situation
A tenant at a Whitney Road apartment told police she was giving her son a bath about 7:20 p.m. Nov. 12 when she heard someone enter her apartment.
She said the intruder also tried to unlock the bathroom door. She told police she had her apartment door unlocked.
Another Lost Child
A passerby called police Nov. 12 after noticing a girl about 3 years old standing alone in front of TJ Maxx, 18290 Royalton Rd.
Police located the girl's mother, who said she had lost track of her while shopping and the child had somehow made it out the doors.
A few days earlier, a motorist on Royalton Road saw a . The girl had wandered off while her mother was doing yard work.
Car Break-In
A witness reported a man with a screwdriver or stick trying to get into a car outside Nov. 11.
He was, in fact, trying to get in the car, which was his, a report said. He was locked out.
Police said the man had an arrest warrant from Shaker Heights, but police said to advise him of it and release him.
